What our alumni say
I had recently taken on new responsibility. The new leadership position put me into a stressful environment, adding to worries about my work-life balance. It was a lonely place and I was becoming frazzled. It was hard to find a proper mentor. My Chairman recommended the course. It was a commitment of time but I found it a liberation to be there. The experience
has been staggering and a complete eye opener. I realised I was assuming burdens that I did not need to take on. The discussions give you a wealth of common sense to work from.
Life-changing. I moved from knowing in my mind to knowing in my gut and heart who I am and what I am capable of.
Leadership Mystique didn’t just challenge how I lead - it changed how I see myself. It helped me process deeply personal truths, reconnect with who I really am, and return to my organisation more grounded, intentional, and free. This isn’t a course. It’s a rare space that stays with you for life.
About the KDVI
The Kets de Vries Institute (KDVI) is a specialist leadership and organisational development consultancy founded in 2010 by Professor Manfred Kets de Vries - one of the foremost thinkers in leadership and organisational behaviour, and a pioneer in executive coaching.
KDVI exists to help clients understand and navigate complexity. Our services support individual leadership development, senior team alignment, and organisational culture transformation - fostering more reflective, emotionally intelligent, future-ready, and high performing leaders. We bring a unique blend of business acumen and deep psychological insight to help leaders navigate today’s complex human and organisational challenges.
Rather than focusing solely on competencies or surface-level diagnosis, our approach uncovers the deeper drivers of leadership behaviour - identifying patterns, pain points, and resistances to generate the insight needed for lasting behavioural change. Our interventions are highly tailored, whether supporting the growth of a single senior executive or enabling cultural transformation across leadership tiers.
Headquartered in London, KDVI operates across five continents, 27 countries and represents 25 nationalities. KDVI’s unique value lies in its people, academic grounding, proprietary methodology, and decades of hands-on coaching and consulting experience. We are proud to work with a multicultural team of over 100 experienced consultants and coaches. Our thought leadership is reflected in more than 60 books and 400+ academic and practitioner articles. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies, family businesses, and non profits across sectors such as finance, pharma, healthcare, law, education, and humanitarian aid.
Our offerings include leadership coaching and advisory, board and team development, leadership and culture transformation programmes, proprietary 360-degree diagnostics, and open enrolment programmes. These are grounded in more than 50 years of academic research, robust coaching methodologies, and an integrated framework that aligns the emotional, relational, and strategic dimensions of leadership.
Pioneers in individual, group, and team coaching - our work has influenced coaching practices in top business schools such as INSEAD, ESMT, MIT, Harvard, ETH Zurich, Vlerick, and TIAS.
